Hi! I’m Simon.

Hi, I’m Simon Gill, founder of The Energy Landscape Ltd. I’m passionate about helping Scotland, the UK, and the world transition to a net zero energy system – cutting reliance on fossil fuels and the emissions that harm our planet.

Today’s challenge is balancing affordability, reliability, and decarbonisation – transforming our energy system while keeping it secure and inclusive.

With over 16 years in the energy sector, my experience spans policy, innovation, and education – from advising ministers and shaping national strategy at the Scottish Government, to leading energy innovation at the University of Strathclyde, and running Continuing Professional Development training both here in Scotland and abroad.

Today, I bring this blend of insight and experience to help organisations across the energy sector navigate the transition with clarity and purpose.
